The School of Law, CHRIST University, Lavasa, through its Journal Committee in collaboration with the Research Committee, is organising a two-day workshop titled “From Basics to Breakthroughs: Building Research Skills and Ethical AI Practices.” Scheduled for 08 and 09 December 2025, the workshop is designed to strengthen the research capabilities of students while fostering responsible and informed academic inquiry.
Day One introduces participants to the fundamentals of research, guiding them through the process of framing issues, gathering credible sources, and developing coherent arguments. Day Two focuses on the ethical use of AI tools in research, emphasising academic integrity, transparency, and the appropriate application of technology within scholarly work.
By integrating foundational research training with contemporary discussions on AI ethics, the workshop aims to prepare students to engage with academic writing thoughtfully and responsibly. It reflects the commitment of the committees to nurture a culture of rigorous, principled, and forward-looking research within the School of Law."
