Workshop on Case Study
Cases help identify and comprehend multi-faceted scenarios or issues in a single package. It acts as an excellent tool to teach scenario-based decision-making to students. MBA department is organizing a case study writing workshop on 12-04-2021 to achieve the above-said objective. The workshop will be led by Prof Bharathi S Gopal.

Prof. Bharathi S Gopal has been in academics for more than two decades. She has developed several case studies and conducted training sessions on case study writing. She has also compiled case study volumes which are available on Amazon, while all her case studies are available on The Case Centre in the UK, the world’s largest repository of case studies. She has also mentored academicians on the usage of case studies in the classroom, integrating case study discussions with assessment and facilitator’s preparation for a case study session. She has trained academicians from several streams such as Economics, Education, Law and Commerce on the case study method both in India and abroad. Prof. Bharathi has also designed a course that is delivered entirely through the case study pedagogy. The final piece in the case learning puzzle is the students. Though she has trained students and designed induction courses on case study, her most rewarding experience has been the usage of case studies as part of the courses she has delivered. She feels that the recall value is relatively higher from learning through case studies compared to other methods of teaching. She teaches courses in Marketing and Strategy. She has designed several courses such as Digital Marketing, Marketing for Non-profits, a course on Female Economy delivered in Belgium and a Digital Marketing course at Manchester.
