World Photography Day - Photography Contest

Central for Digital Learning of CHRIST (Deemed to be university), Pune Lavasa Campus is organising a photography event on the occasion of world photography day celebrated on 19th August and our theme is based on Lavasa Monsoon which will help you to get closer to nature.

Pictures can capture history. With photography you let people witness what you saw, or feel what you felt. Photography allows you to capture memories which can last forever, also you get to transport yourself away from your office or cubical. Photographs have helped us educate the future generations to know our history. As people constantly grow with technology, memories can stay documented for years to remember the good times they had with loved ones, places they visited, and the seasons of the past.

Take a picture of a scene of lightning or water drops, or incredible cloud formations, or nature, etc and produce photos that will capture Lavasa in its natural essence. Reflections can occasionally produce mirrors or blurs of dancing colors, making the photography in rain beautiful and unpredictable. We welcome all our 1st year students to participate in this contest and the best picture will be awarded, and the best three pictures will be displayed on our campus displays. 

Guidelines :

• The contest is open only for the 1st year students of Pune Lavasa Campus.
• Theme : Monsoon in Lavasa
• A curation of pictures of monsoon in Lavasa that narrates a story in 3 pictures minimum (collage format) and with a suitable Caption.
• Edited photos are not allowed
• Maximum file size can be 10 MB in JPG format
• Entry deadline, 5th September 2022
