The banking system has evolved substantially in the past few years to offer several channels of interaction to the customers. In spite of this, Branches still remain the most important business connect points for the Banks. In the mind of the customers, Banks are the Branches where they transact for their personal and business banking needs. To achieve a competitive advantage, it is essential for Cooperative Banks to optimize the performance at the Branches. A focused approach to the optimization of the performance of the Branches will add substantially to the productivity of the Bank.

Attracting new customers, retaining and achieving additional business from the existing customers has to be the key focus area for the teams at the Branches. Reduction of process errors and need for rework, elimination of waste will help the leadership in maximizing resource utilization. This will lead to a radical improvement in the operational efficiencies in the branches.

The two-day program will focus on the use of the principles of Kaizen, Continuous Improvement and Lean Management to provide a platform for the understanding of smooth functioning in individual branch units. Facilitator Profile

Mr. Yogesh Vaghani Chairman & Principal Practitioner Vedzen Institute.

Mr. Yogesh Vaghani has a rich experience in improving performance and productivity in
various Work Units in different business verticals. He has been the Promoter of Milton Plastics Ltd.,
Chairman of DCCIA (Deccan Chamber of Commerce Industries and Agriculture), Pune and is currently
Chairman at Vedzen Institute, Pune.

Mr. Vaghani is involved in several complex transformation initiatives. One of the most successful projects has been the adoption of Lean Kaizen Management practices at Milton’s Pune Unit in its entirety. He is an avid and committed practitioner of Lean Kaizen, the proof of which lies in the first Global Kaizen Award bestowed on his company by Masaaki Imai San.

He is a specialist in Holistic Management, with focus on end to end business improvements starting from the customer and following the entire value chain for the creation of optimum processes and solutions.

Mr. Yogesh Vaghani was felicitated as “Lean Management Guru” by ELC Pune at Lean Management Congress 09.
