PROGRAMME OUTCOMES:

The management training programme focuses on the development of the whole person equipped with the necessary skills and attitudes to meet the needs of a changing and challenging global business scenario.


Candidates falling under any of the below mentioned categories must apply under the International Student Category:

  1. Foreign citizens,
  2. PIO card holders and
  3. OCI (Dual Citizens)

International students coming from Non-English speaking countries should:

  • produce evidence of passing the qualifying examination in English medium or
  • have IELTS 6.0 with no sub-score below 5.5 or TOEFL (paper) 550, TOEFL (computer) of 213 or TOEFL (IBT) of 79 scores

Candidates without the above pre-qualifications will have to enroll either for

  • Intensive Certificate course in English Language (Full Time) conducted from March to May each year or
  • One Semester Certificate course in English Language (Part Time) conducted after regular class hours from June to December.

Note: The International Student category fee structure is binding for the full duration of the programme and cannot be transferred /changed in between.

Candidates from the above listed categories having pursued Indian Educational qualification and who may have applied under the Indian States Category will have to pay the International Student Category Fee. The decision of the Admission committee is final.

Candidates seeking admission through International Student category (Foreign Nationals/PIO/OCI) will have a separate application process, with the following options to apply for any programme at Christ University.

Students who fall under any of the following classifications, at the time of application may apply under NRI Student category and be liable to pay the fees applicable to the category for the entire duration of the course.

  1. NRI defined under the Indian Income Tax Law
  2. Either of the parents is outside India (except Nepal) on Work Permit / Resident Permit.
  3. Indian citizen financed by any Institution /  agency outside India, even if parents are Residents of India.
  4. Indian Citizen who has pursued studies for qualifying examination in any foreign / Indian syllabus outside India.
  5. Indian citizen pursued studies for qualifying examination in foreign syllabi in India.

Note: If only condition 5 is satisfied, and not conditions 1 to 4 above,NRI student category fee will be applicable only for the first year.

Candidates will be intimated about the Selection status (Selected / Wait Listed / Not Selected) through the “Application Status” link on the University website. The Selection results will be declared as mentioned in the important dates link.

Note: Candidates must note that if selected, admission is provisional and subject to University rules.

Details on how to process admission will be available on Offer of Admission through ‘Application Status’ link on the University website.

Candidates are required to choose the preferred date and time from available options to facilitate smooth admission process. Admission must be processed at the campus where the program is offered.

As per UGC guidelines, fee payment has to be made through online mode. Payment options and details will be provided to selected candidates through ‘Offer of Admission’ on ‘Application Status’ on the University website. Fees for first year including Admission Registration fee must be paid in full as part of the admission process.

Admission will not be processed without the presence of the candidate and the mandatory ORIGINAL DOCUMENTS and one set of photocopies mentioned below;

  1. Class 10 Marks Statement and Class 12 Marks Statement (Mandatory).
  2. Undergraduate Degree Marks Card semester/year (if result awaited, marks card available currently) (Mandatory).
  3. Provisional Degree Certificate or Degree Certificate (Convocation Certificate), if the candidate has graduated on or before November 2019 / 2020 (Mandatory).
  4. Copy of entrance test score card (Sep MAT 2019 / Dec MAT 2019 / Feb MAT 2020/ CAT 2019/ CMAT 2020 / GMAT 2019 / 2020 / GRE 2019 / 2020 / XAT 2020 / ATMA 2020 ) (Mandatory).
  5. Transfer Certificate (TC) of undergraduate degree from the last qualified institution (Mandatory).
  6. Migration Certificate of undergraduate degree from qualifying University (applicable for all candidates except those studying in Maharashtra) (Mandatory).
  7. One Stamp size and one passport size photograph formal dress with white background (Mandatory)
  8. Two Copies of the Online Payment Receipt (Mandatory).
  9. Copy of valid ID proof (Aadhar Card / Aadhar Enrolment Receipt).
  10. Candidates falling under any of these categories (NRI / PIO / OCI / SAARC / AFRICA / ASEAN / OTHER FOREIGN NATIONALS) have to submit:
  • Copy of Passport and Visa Details (Mandatory).
  • PIO / OCI have to produce the copy of PIO / OCI card whichever is applicable (Mandatory).      
  • Medical Fitness Certificate (MFC) from any recognized medical practitioner certified by the Medical Council of India and
  • Resident Permit (RP) (If available while applying)

All mandatory documents must be submitted for verification during the admission process. An undertaking for pending original documents unavailable currently [applicable only for candidates writing / passing their exam in March – June 2020], must be submitted to the Office of Admissions. These documents must be submitted on or before August 20, 2020. Failure to submit the pending documents will be treated as unsuccessful in the qualifying examination or considered “Not Eligible” and admission will be terminated from Christ University without any claim.

All admitted students must open an account at South Indian Bank, Christ University Branch as part of the admission process and must carry relevant ID proof (Aadhar Card and Pan Card). The University ID card is a smart card, which is both an ID cum ATM card with a chip containing the student personal details. All transactions within the University campus after commencement of classes, including fee payment will be processed only through this card. It is also an access card for Library and other restricted places.

The date of commencement of the academic Year 2020 - 2021 will be intimated during the admission process.


Please note:

  1. The University does not collect any type of capitation / donation other than the fees mentioned in the website.
  2. Christ University does not authorize any Third Party / Agents / Person to apply / offer admission on its behalf. Christ University will not be responsible for applicants being misguided by such individuals / SMS / Email.
  3. All those admitted to the programme will have to purchase a laptop at their own cost, if required by the department.
  4. Admitted students who wish to avail bank loan will be provided a recommendation letter on request by presenting the original fee paid receipt to the Office of Admissions.
  5. The decision of the admission committee is final and binding.

All applicants using online mode must visit the online application page.  Register by entering your NAME (as printed on Class 10 Marks Card) EMAIL-ID and set password.  (The email id and mobile number provided will be used for sending confirmation and application status-update messages).


Guidelines to applicants:

  • To fill the application you must have a copy of statement of marks of Class 10, Class 12, Degree Marks Cards (whichever is available) (Mandatory) and Provisional degree certificate / Convocation certificate, if candidate has completed / graduated from the qualifying programme and Entrance test score card (Sep MAT 2019 / Dec MAT 2019 / Feb MAT / May MAT 2020 / CAT 2019 / CMAT 2019 / GMAT 2019/ 2020 / XAT 2020 / ATMA 2020 / GRE 2019/ 2020) (Mandatory).
  • Fill-in all the details in the “detailed application” page. Scan and upload recent passport size photograph (3.5 cms x 4.5 cms formal dress with white background) and click “Submit”. On clicking Submit, a viewable and editable page will appear on screen. In case you need to make any corrections; you may edit the data/details and then click “Confirm Submission”.
  • Application registration fee may be paid through Credit / Debit Card / Net banking facility (for online applicants only).
  • Choose the payment option and fill-in the required details to process the “Application processing fee”. The application will be submitted online after payment of application processing fee.
  • After the payment is successful you will receive the application number with the option to print your application form.
  • Print and sign the application form. Keep a copy of the application form for further reference and to produce at the time of selection process.

At the time of the interview candidates are required to carry the following documents:

  1. Copy of the original filled-in printed application form duly signed by the parent / guardian and the candidate (Mandatory).
  2. Copy of the application processing fee online payment acknowledgment slip (Mandatory).
  3. Copy of Statement of marks of Class 10 and 12 (Mandatory), copy of Degree Marks Card (if result awaited, marks card available currently) (Mandatory), copy of Provisional degree certificate / Convocation certificate, if candidate has completed / graduated from the qualifying programme and Entrance test score card (Sep MAT 2019 / Dec MAT 2019 / Feb MAT / May MAT 2020 / CAT 2019 / CMAT 2020 / GMAT 2019 / 2020 / XAT 2020 / ATMA 2020 / GRE 2019 / 2020) (Mandatory).
  4. Copy of Transfer Certificate from last qualified Institution (UG) (If available while applying).
  5. Copy of Migration Certificate from last qualified University for all candidates except for students studying in Maharashtra (If available while applying).
  6. Candidates falling under any of these categories (NRI / PIO / OCI / SAARC / AFRICA / ASEAN / OTHER FOREIGN NATIONALS) have to submit:
  •  Copy of Passport and Visa Details (Mandatory).
  •  PIO / OCI have to produce a copy of PIO / OCI card whichever is applicable (Mandatory).

  • Candidates, who are unable to print the application form due to system /power/internet failure, may log on to the “Application Status” link and enter your email id, password, and captcha details to view and print the application form.

The selection process E-Admit card will be generated 3-5 days prior to the scheduled selection process date.

A composite score of 500 or above in the Management Aptitude Test (MAT) conducted by AIMA in either September - 2019 / December 2019 OR

  • A composite score of 450 or above in GMAT 2019 OR 2020 OR
  • A composite score or 300 or above in GRE 2019 OR 2020 OR
  • 50 percentile or above in the Common Management Admission Test (CMAT 2020) OR
  • 50 percentile or above in the Common Admission Test 2019 (CAT) conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) OR
  • 50 percentile or above in the XAT Test for Management Admissions (XAT) 2020
  • 50 percentile or above in the ATMA 2020.

And

50% or above marks in aggregate in the undergraduate examinations. (Applicants who are in the final year of their studies should have 50% or above aggregate in all the Semesters / years of undergraduate examinations conducted so far). Students writing their final degree examinations during March-May 2020 are also eligible to apply.

The minimum Score specified for MAT / CAT / CMAT / XAT / GMAT / GRE / ATMA is only an eligibility criterion and the actual score thereof shall have no bearing in the selection process.

1. NRI fee is applicable for the first year for candidates who have studied foreign syllabi in the qualifying examination of study in India. Indian citizens who have studied foreign syllabi in India for the qualifying examination (applying for UG / PG / MPhil /Ph.D. Programme has to be approved by UGC / AIU).

(The above condition is not applicable to NRI and candidates applied under NRI Category).

2. NRI fee is applicable for the full duration of the programme for candidates who;

2.1. Have pursued and completed their last qualifying exam from outside India.

2.2. Are NRI and candidates who have applied under the NRI category.

3. To claim Indian / Karnataka category fee, the candidates should have studied last 7 years in India / Karnataka. (Not applicable for OCI, PIO, and Foreign Nationals).

4. Admission registration fee of INR 5,000/- is non-refundable in the event of cancellation of admission. This fee will be apart from cancellation charges if any applicable.                 

5. All Candidates If “Selected” after appearing for the final selection process, The fee may be paid through the following option:
