Dr. Umme Salma M is a teacher and a passionate researcher. She has over 10 years of teaching and research experience. She holds a PhD in Computer Science from Mangalore University. Her expertise includes Data Analytics, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, and Nature-Inspired Algorithms. Dr. Salma has published extensively in international journals and conferences. She has also contributed chapters to academic books. In May 2024, she earned the BEST PAPER AWARD at an IEEE international conference. She achieved academic distinction by securing the 1st rank in MSc Computer Science. This earned her a gold medal. Dr. Salma is a Summer Research Fellow of the Indian Academy of Sciences and a recipient of the Maulana Azad National Fellowship. Since 2017, she has been an integral part of CHRIST (Deemed to be University). Her roles include IQAC coordinator, Research Guide, and HED trainer. In 2024, she received the Innovative Teaching Award from CHRIST University. In 2023, the Association of Muslim Professionals awarded her the National Award for Excellence in Teaching in Higher Education. Dr. Salma?s dedication and innovative teaching methods have significantly contributed to academia.
