Dr. Meera Mathew specializes in media law, technology, and criminal law. She is a Commonwealth Scholarship recipient and earned gold medals for her LLM. Her research focuses on media jurisprudence, emerging technology, and criminology. Dr. Mathew has over 20 publications, including SCOPUS-indexed papers and UGC CARE-listed articles. She contributed to a volume on Gender Justice and is co-editing Rethinking the Police for a Better Future, set to be published by Springer in 2025. Her upcoming work includes a piece in Economic and Political Weekly and a book chapter with Springer Nature. She participated in a faculty exchange program at Miami University, Ohio, and presented papers in Sweden and Taiwan. Dr. Mathew secured a ₹2 lakh project grant from the Ministry of Justice for Christ University. She also serves as guest faculty at institutions such as the CBI Academy, Indian Institute of Mass Communication, and the Indian Law Institute.
