 About the Event

The Department of English & Cultural Studies is organising a Guest Lecture on "Invisible No More: Highlighting Women's Contribution to the Indian Knowledge System in Ancient Literature". The lecture will be delivered by Dr. Devina Krishna, Assistant Professor at Patna Women’s College. Dr. Krishna will discuss the significant yet often overlooked contributions of women to ancient Indian literature and knowledge systems, shedding light on their pivotal roles in shaping intellectual traditions. This lecture will take place on 2 May 2025 at 10 AM in Room No. 2111, Management Block. The session is aligned with SDGs 5 (Gender Equality) and 10 (Reduced Inequality), highlighting the importance of acknowledging and celebrating the contributions of women in cultural and intellectual history.
