About the Event
The Department of Languages, under the School of Arts and Humanities at CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus, successfully organized a Management Development Programme (MDP) focused on enhancing Leadership Skills and Team Cohesion. This comprehensive programme was conducted in two phases—an outbound training session followed by an online educational module.
The Outbound Training Programme took place on the 3rd and 4th of February 2025 at Sunny’s World, Pune, commencing at 10:00 AM. The sessions were facilitated by Michelle Pinto, an experienced leadership development facilitator, and Naived George Eapen, Assistant Professor. The training emphasized experiential learning methods, fostering leadership qualities, effective communication, and strategies for team cohesion through interactive activities and reflective exercises.
Complementing the outbound programme, an online module titled "User Awareness and Education on Generative AI" was held from 5th to 8th February 2025. This module, accessible via Coursera, provided participants with insights into the fundamentals of Generative AI, its applications, and ethical considerations.
The programme contributed to a dynamic learning environment. It successfully met its objectives of developing leadership competencies, fostering team collaboration, and enhancing digital literacy in the context of emerging AI technologies.
