Anti-Terrorism Day
The Criminal Law Committee under the Student Bar Association of the School of Law, CHRIST (Deemed to be University) Pune, Lavasa is organising a talk on 21st May, 2021 to mark the Anti-Terrorism Day. The day is observed on the death anniversary of Rajiv Gandhi, the youngest Prime Minister of India. This day pays tribute and respect to all soldiers who have died in terrorist attacks and in protecting the country against terrorsim. The country has witnessed a number of terrorist attacks such as the Taj attack, Pulwama attack, Mumbai blasts and many more. The day is about educating masses to stay away from influences that drives them into terror planning and immoral teachings. Awareness about such incidences has to be created where the future of the country is raised in a wrong way.
