About the Event

The guest lecture at Christ (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus, will delve into two critical areas: Data Privacy and Data Centres and Infrastructure Laws. The first session, from 09:45 AM to 10:45 AM, will focus on Data Privacy and Data Centres, covering applicable laws such as the Information Technology Act, 2000, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. It will explore the legal frameworks governing data protection, cybersecurity, and the operational regulations for data centres, which are pivotal in managing sensitive information in the digital era.
The second session, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, will introduce Infrastructure Laws, addressing the legal aspects of developing and managing infrastructure projects. Topics will include regulatory compliance, public-private partnerships, and environmental laws impacting infrastructure development. These discussions are essential for understanding the legal challenges in building and maintaining critical infrastructure. This lecture, led by Mr. Prashanth Sabeshan, will provide students with valuable insights into these dynamic and increasinglyrelevant fields of law.
