About the Event
The Centre for Counselling & Health Services (CCHS) is organizing a guided Sound Bath session designed to promote deep relaxation, emotional balance, and self-healing among students. This in-person event offers participants a unique opportunity to experience the calming effects of vibrational sound in a supportive and meditative environment.
A sound bath is a deeply immersive, full-body listening experience that uses therapeutic instruments—including the handpan, chimes, and other resonant tools—to bathe the mind and body in harmonious vibrations. The gentle and layered tones interact with the body’s energy field, helping to quiet mental chatter, regulate the nervous system, and release stored tension.
The session blends the soothing sounds of nature with rich, melodic frequencies to help participants enter a state of mindfulness, presence, and inner stillness. By cultivating a non-judgmental space for rest and introspection, the Sound Bath encourages physical rejuvenation and psychological clarity. It is especially beneficial for students navigating academic pressures, emotional fatigue, or stress. Through this initiative, CCHS aims to provide a gentle yet powerful pathway toward holistic healing and emotional well-being.
