The School of Law Christ (Deemed to be University) will be organizing a 5-day Faculty
Development Program (FDP) for all faculty members of School of Law. The FDP will be held from 3rd to 7th July and will cover the theme of Advancing Legal Education: Strategies and Methods for Effective Teaching. It is aimed at providing faculty members with the knowledge and skills necessary to engage students in meaningful and effective learning experiences. The program will focus on a variety of teaching strategies and methods, such as active learning, student-centered teaching, and the use of technology, to help faculty members create engaging and impactful learning experiences for their students. The program will entail the experiences of vastly experienced academicians to give the participants an opportunity to learn from experts in legal education and come across best practices of the industry.

 


Prof V Muthu Ruben will be speaking on the topic of Understanding the Art of Teaching: Teaching with Confidence & Classroom Management. Prof. (Dr.) Ajay Kumar Sinha would be addressing the participants on the topic of Role of Teachers in Assessment and Evaluation of Students Learning. This will be followed by a session by Prof Dr Madhuri Sunil Deshpande who will discussing the topic of Entrepreneurship and Education. Ms. Aparna will be taking an interactive session on Fundamentals of Legal Research in order to enhance the legal research skills of the participants. The event will also have sessions from internal faculties who are experts of their respective domains in order to enhance the effectiveness of the program.
