 About the Event

The Department of English and Cultural Studies is delighted to host an expert lecture on the topic “Storytelling: Deconstructing Myths of Personal Branding” for the MA English students. The session will be held on Wednesday, 30th April, from 10:40 to 11:30 AM in online mode. The resource person for the session is Dr Sakshi Chanana, the founder and CEO of Literary Aisle, an organization that offers creative writing, executive leadership, and communication programs driven by storytelling to create an impact.
Storytelling is an essential skill in today’s professional landscape, offering a dynamic way to build and communicate one’s personal brand. It allows individuals to go beyond listing achievements and instead present their journey, values, and aspirations in a compelling and authentic manner. A well-told story creates emotional connections, enhances trust, and leaves a lasting impression. This session will explore how narrative techniques can be leveraged to strengthen identity, visibility, and influence in various professional contexts.
