Dr. Preethi N is an Associate Professor in the Department of Data Science at Christ University, Pune Lavasa Campus. She earned her Doctorate from Bharathiar University, Coimbatore, in 2014. Her M.Phil. in Computer Science was obtained in 2007, and she completed her Master's in Computer Applications in 2004. With two decades of teaching and research experience, Dr. Preethi has published over 50 papers in international refereed journals. She has contributed chapters to several books and authored seven books. Dr. Preethi holds four granted patents. In 2020, she received the Best Professor award from Lead India and Vision Digital India. Her book "Covid-19 and Its Impact" was recognized by the Indian and Asian Books of Records. Her research interests include machine learning, natural language processing, neural networks, and the semantic web. She is a lifetime member of professional societies like the Computer Society of India (CSI), and the IEEE Computer Society Pune Chapter. Dr. Preethi is an active member of several other professional organizations, including IACSIT, CSTA, and ISTE.
