Kalpesh Patkar specializes in Political Science and International Relations. His expertise includes Indian and Western Political Philosophy, Comparative Politics, and International Politics. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. focusing on the idea of Nyaya in the Shanti Parva of the Mahabharata.
He is an Assistant Professor at Christ (Deemed to be University), Lavasa Campus, Pune. Kalpesh has previously taught at Fergusson College (A) and Modern College of Arts, Science & Commerce (A), Pune. His research is published in UGC-CARE and SCOPUS-listed journals, focusing on topics such as the National Education Policy 2020 and Indian Knowledge Systems.
Kalpesh actively contributes to curriculum development, faculty training, and workshops on legal research and academic quality standards. He has qualified for UGC-NET JRF and Maharashtra SET. He has presented papers at international conferences and published research on political philosophy.
Apart from academics, Kalpesh collaborates with NGOs and has participated in projects like "Transform Maharashtra," gaining statewide recognition. He also excels in sports as a national-level basketball player, balancing his academic pursuits with athletic passion.
