CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus proudly hosted a dynamic two-day workshop titled “Navigating the Grant Maze: Strategies for Successful Research Funding Proposal” from 31st July to 1st August 2025. Designed to empower faculty with advanced skills in research proposal writing, the workshop was led by esteemed resource person Dr. Mallika Sankar, Deputy Director at ICSSR. The sessions covered vital components such as research problem formulation, literature review, methodology design, budgeting, and ethical considerations. Participants engaged in interactive peer reviews, proposal pitches, and hands-on activities aligned with ICSSR and UGC funding frameworks. This initiative significantly enriched the research culture, promoted interdisciplinary collaboration, and equipped participants with tools to pursue competitive grants. The event not only marked a milestone in faculty development but also reinforced CHRIST Lavasa’s commitment to fostering impactful and fundable research practices.
