Project Shakti is an empowering initiative by CSA’s Health, Hygiene & Well-being Cohort, dedicated to spreading awareness and fostering open conversations around menstrual health and hygiene. Through interactive workshops, training sessions, and awareness drives, the project equips individuals with accurate knowledge, practical solutions, and the confidence to address menstrual health without stigma.
A highlight of Project Shakti is its Train the Trainer program, a certified 12-hour course that prepares participants to become advocates and educators within their communities. Select participants also receive the opportunity to extend this impact by conducting awareness sessions in other institutions, furthering the project’s mission of outreach and education.
By breaking taboos, promoting sustainable menstrual practices, and ensuring inclusivity, Project Shakti aims to create healthier, more informed, and empowered communities where menstrual health is recognized as a vital aspect of overall well-being.
