Open to all faculty members, admin staff, students, and bird enthusiasts. Avian Allies is the Birders’ Club of CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa campus. It aims to create awareness and appreciation for the avian diversity in and around the campus through interactive bird walks, expert talks, and conservation-themed workshops. The Sunset Bird Walk is designed to help participants explore the rich birdlife at the lakeside. Scheduled for 24th November 2025 at 5:00 PM, this guided walk invites participants to observe birds, listen to their calls, and discover hidden winged wonders. To enhance the experience, participants are encouraged to download the Merlin Bird ID App, which makes bird identification simple and fun. Bring binoculars if you have them—if not, we’ve got you covered. Participants can also carry a notebook or camera to record their observations. This walk promises to be a refreshing start to the day, blending learning with the joy of reconnecting with nature.
