The Department of English and Cultural Studies at CHRIST (Deemed to be University) is organising an online talk titled “Beyond Binaries: Notes on Theorising Digital Spaces” by Dr. Tonisha Guin, Assistant Professor at the School of Liberal Arts, Indian Institute of Technology Jodhpur. The session will be conducted as an integrated teaching-learning initiative as part of the course Postcolonial Digital Narratives. The talk will explore how digital environments challenge fixed binaries and open up new possibilities for understanding identity, representation, and power in online spaces. Bringing together perspectives from digital humanities and cultural theory, the session will encourage students to critically reflect on the complexities of digital cultures and their intersections with postcolonial thought.
