About the Event

The School of Business and Management, CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus in association with the Christ University School of Business and Management Association (CUSBMA), is organizing the Annual Inter-Departmental Debate Competition 2025. The event, spread across two days, will feature intellectual discourse, masterful rebuttals and compelling arguments on the 15th and the 16th of January 2025. Participants will navigate 4 different rounds, each designed to test a different aspect of debating prowess. The event features a roundtable round, a quiz round, a parliamentary/policy/cross examination round and the chance to play the devil’s advocate. With an emphasis on bringing lesser-known formats to light, the Annual Inter-Departmental Debate Competition offers students a platform to pit themselves against the very best and emerge victorious.
