About the Event

The Department of Commerce at CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus, 'The Hub of Analytics,' is pleased to announce an upcoming guest lecture on Actuarial Science. The session will be conducted by Dr. Libin Chacko Samuel, Assistant Professor from the Department of Data Science, on 9th November 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM in Room No. 2206, Management Block.
Dr. Samuel will share his expertise on the fundamentals of actuarial science, its significance in today’s financial landscape, and career opportunities in the field. Attendees will have the chance to understand the practical applications of risk assessment, probability theory, and financial modeling, as well as gain insights into the skills required to excel as an actuary.
