About the Event

A workshop will be conducted for the students in which they will learn about event study analysis, a widely used research procedure in the stock market, and related research. The activity will involve briefing the students about the theoretical underpinning of the event study methodology i.e. testing market efficiency and behavioral finance. It will then be followed by briefing the students about various procedures of the event study methodology. Lastly, the students will be engaged through hands-on about a recent event and its subsequent impact on the concerned company (Hidenberg report and its impact on Adani group).
