About the Event

The Awareness Workshop on High Performance Computing (HPC) organized by CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus, recognized as "The Hub of Analytics." Scheduled for Saturday, November 16th, 2024, this insightful workshop will take place in the Auditorium, Central Block, providing an excellent opportunity for participants to gain an in-depth understanding of high-performance computing and its various applications in the field of AI and Edge Computing.
Dr. Sharon Christa, a distinguished HPC Master Trainer from the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (CDAC), will lead the workshop. With her vast expertise as a Program Head specializing in AI and Edge Computing and as an Associate Professor at MIT ADT University, Pune, Dr. Christa will delve into the significance of HPC and its practical uses, especially under the AICTE-SANKALP initiative. Attendees will benefit from her knowledge and practical insights into the applications of HPC in various domains, fostering a deeper understanding of computational efficiency and performance.
This workshop is a collaborative effort supported by various organizations, including AICTE, CDAC, and CHRIST Infotech's Research & Development Centre, as well as the Data Science Department at CHRIST University, Pune Lavasa.
