About the Event
This workshop will provide an in-depth look at career opportunities in the Digital Humanities,focusing on how skills in technology, research, and cultural analysis can be applied in various fields.Participants will learn about potential roles in academia, cultural institutions, and the tech industry,gaining insights into how to navigate this interdisciplinary landscape.
This will be an online workshop conducted by the Department of Languages, CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus. The resource person for the event is Mr Victor Adedayo, a doctoral researcher in Applied Linguistics with over five years of qualitative research experience.
Currently affiliated with Oklahoma State University, he is proficient in conversation mining, survey design, interviewing, user story development, journey mapping, persona development, information architecture, wireframing, prototyping, usability testing, A/B testing, expert review, and heuristic evaluation. He is versatile with design/project management tools like Figma, Miro, Jira, and Trello. Mr Adedayo is an excellent communicator with a proven ability to break down complex concepts into clear, concise, engaging, and personable materials.
This workshop promises to be an invaluable opportunity for participants to explore the diverse career paths available in the Digital Humanities and gain practical insights from an expert in the field.
