CHRI-SPO Lavasa, 2020

CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa campus had organized its first Inter-Collegiate Sports Fest - CHRI-SPO (Lavasa) from 14th to 16th February 2020. Nearly 350 participants from various parts of the country participated in Football, Basketball, and Badminton. Over the period of the three-day tournament, participants displayed an enthusiastic effort, teamwork, discipline, determination,and true sportsmanship spirit on and off the field.

Crescedent 2020

Crescedent - The annual sports day was organized on 17th and 18th January 2020. Nearly 400 students participated and the students were sorted into 8 houses and participated in various events. Individual championships were won by Ashwabh Dhawan of B.Com and Shruthi Rastogi of MBA. Red House won the overall championship. During this period, events were also organized for the teaching and non-teaching staff to spread the spirit of sportsmanship.

Sports Wizard 2020

‘Sports Wizard’ is an online Sports Quiz competition conducted for the students on 1st June 2020 for 2nd-year students, and on 08th August 2020 for 1st-year students. The quiz had 5 rounds with multiple choice questions, pictures, and videos. The quiz was conducted on a Webex platform and Google form. Almost 150 students had participated from 2nd-year and around 75 students had participated from 1st-year.

Virtual Run 2020

Virtual Run is a running event that was conducted on 2nd October 2020 on the special occasion of Gandhi Jayanti for all the students and staff of the Lavasa campus. They were provided the opportunity to participate from wherever they are, in their own space, and at their own time on the day of the event. They had to use their phone as the tracker of the run and 75 participants had taken part in the virtual event showcasing their passion for sports through the difficult times.

Family day & Sports 2020

A number of sports activities were conducted for all the Staff members of the Lavasa campus from the Department of Physical Education to spread the spirit of camaraderie and sportsmanship across all ages. There was a participation of about 150 members in different sports and events that were conducted.

CHRI-SPO Lavasa, 2022

CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa campus organized its second Annual Inter-Collegiate Sports Festival - CHRI-SPO (Lavasa) from 30th April to 3rd May 2022, in which we had more than 500 participants from various parts of the country participating in Badminton (M & W), Basketball (M), Chess (M & W), Cricket (M), Football (M), and Table Tennis (M). The event was inaugurated by Fr. Arun Antony Chully, Academic Coordinator of Lavasa campus and the Chief Guest for the event, Harshh Verma, who was India’s first ever Shaolin Warrior Monk.

Annual Sports & Athletics Meet 2022

The Department of Physical Education, CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus organized the University's Annual Inter-Departmental Sports and Athletics Meet 2022 for several sports, games and athletics events as an initiative to provide opportunity to all students to portray their talent, compete with team spirit and outreach their unknown limits. Students who consider themselves unathletic, also had an opportunity to showcase their talent by performing captivating cultural performances for their department and cheering for them. This meet was organized from 7th to 11th June 2022. The Annual Sports and Athletics Meet 2022 was a stage for students to compete with utmost enthusiasm, zeal and camaraderie.

Hydra Meet 2022

The Department of Physical Education, CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus organized the University's Hydra Athletics Meet 2022 for several indoor sports, games and athletics events in order to engage the students during the monsoon season. Students who were unable to play because of the rains, took initiative in many different sports outside their usual field of interest. The meet reflected the students' grit, vigor and alertness, without undue fatigue and with ample energy to enjoy leisure-time pursuits and to meet competitive spirits of the games. The Hydra Meet was organized from 29th August - 7th September 2022.
