The Teaching Learning Enhancement Cell of CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus, successfully organized a one-day workshop on Learner Centered Approaches on 08 August 2025. The event took place at the Banquet Hall, Central Block, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The workshop was facilitated by Dr. Jimmy Thankachan, Associate Professor, School of Business and Management, and Dr. Hema M A, Assistant Professor, School of Psychological Sciences, Education and Social Work , both from CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Bangalore Central Campus.
The sessions focused on engaging strategies to shift the teaching paradigm from teacher-centered to learner-centered practices, aligning with Outcome-Based Education principles. Faculty participants from various disciplines actively engaged in hands-on activities and discussions that emphasized reflective teaching and inclusive pedagogies. The workshop received enthusiastic feedback for its relevance and practical takeaways, reaffirming the institution’s commitment to enhancing teaching and learning experiences across campuses.
