The Centre for Academic and Professional Support (CAPS), in collaboration with the Centre for Research and the Research Club, is organizing a guest lecture titled “Groundwork for Scholarly Research: An Overview” on 18th and 19th November 2025, as part of Athenora 2025. The session will be led by Dr. Parul Gupta, Professor and Chairperson of the PGDM-IB Program at the Management Development Institute (MDI), Gurgaon.
This guest lecture aims to introduce students to the fundamentals of academic research, emphasizing the importance of systematic inquiry, research design, and scholarly writing. Dr. Gupta will guide students through the initial stages of developing a research idea, selecting methodologies, and understanding the ethics of scholarly work.
The sessions will be held for the School of Sciences, School of Law, BBA, and B.Com students, fostering research curiosity and academic rigor among emerging scholars.
