The School of Law is proud to present the Placement Training & Leadership Summit for 3rd Year Law Students, a three-day intensive professional development program designed to equip aspiring legal professionals with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to excel in their placement journeys and future legal careers. The summit will be held from November 17 to 19, 2025, at the Auditorium, Central Block, and will focus on enhancing both technical legal proficiency and essential leadership competencies.
This initiative reflects the continued commitment of Placement committee to fostering employability and holistic growth among its students, aligning with SDG Goal 4: Quality Education and SDG Goal 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth. The sessions will comprehensively cover critical areas such as the Memorandum of Association (MOA), Articles of Association (AOA), and Contract Law, which form the foundation for corporate legal practice. In addition, students will engage in leadership and professional skill-building exercises to prepare them for real-world challenges. The highlight of the summit is the participation of Mr. Bhumesh Verma, Managing Partner at Corp Comm Legal, New Delhi, and an eminent international corporate lawyer with over three decades of experience. A Chevening Scholar and author of several books on corporate and commercial law, Mr. Verma has been a mentor and visiting faculty member at leading law institutions across India. His sessions will blend legal theory with practical training, offering valuable insights into drafting, negotiation, and leadership in the legal profession. Through highly interactive learning, the summit aims to bridge the gap between classroom education and professional expectations, providing students with tools for success in placement interviews, corporate legal roles, and leadership positions in the future.
