Colloquium of Legal Research Season 2

Date & Time : 11th to 13th November 2025

Venue: Lavasa Campus

In today's rapidly evolving legal landscape, academia and research have a pivotal role in influencing legislative reform, judicial interpretation, and policy development. Legal research plays an essential role in shaping these changes by addressing contemporary challenges, exploring emerging fields of law, and proposing innovative solutions.
With immense pride and gratitude, we are delighted to announce Season 2 of the Colloquium of Legal Research, scheduled for 11th, 12th & 13th November 2025, organized by the Conference Committee, School of Law.
The A-Y Legal Colloquium, subtitled “Answer to whY,” is an innovative and comprehensive platform designed to explore a vast array of legal subjects from A to Y. This colloquium is aimed at addressing foundational and emerging issues in law, engaging scholars across the spectrum of legal disciplines.
Each letter represents a topic area, from Administrative Law to Youth Justice, covering almost every corner of the legal landscape. By taking this broad alphabetical approach, the colloquium not only provides structure but also ensures no significant area of law is left unexplored.
Season 1 (February 2025) witnessed remarkable participation, meaningful deliberations, and an overwhelming response from scholars, researchers, and academicians across diverse fields of law. The discussions, papers, and presentations set a high benchmark, making the colloquium a platform of academic rigor, intellectual engagement, and collaborative knowledge-building. The wide reach and positive feedback from participants highlighted the impact and relevance of the initiative, reinforcing the need to continue the series as an annual academic tradition.
Building on this success, Season 2 aspires to broaden its horizons further, fostering critical dialogue on emerging legal issues, encouraging interdisciplinary research, and nurturing a vibrant scholarly community. We remain committed to providing a stage for innovative thought, quality research, and meaningful academic exchange.
