The Teaching Learning Enhancement Cell (TLEC), CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus, organized a session titled “Learner Centered Approaches Lab” on 14 November 2025 at 4:00 PM in the Smart Room, Management Block. The session was conducted by Mr. Gobi Ramasamy, Associate Head of the Department, Department of Computer Science, CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Bangalore Central Campus.
The objective of the session was to promote innovative, learner-centric pedagogical techniques that enhance student engagement and foster self-directed learning. Mr. Ramasamy emphasized the importance of shifting focus from traditional teacher-centered instruction to approaches that encourage collaboration, reflection, and critical thinking. He demonstrated various learner-centered strategies, including active learning, project-based activities, and reflective practices that align with the institutional goal of promoting quality education.
Faculty members actively participated in the interactive discussion, sharing their classroom experiences and exploring adaptable strategies suitable for diverse learning environments.
