On the occasion of World Cancer Day, the Centre for Counselling & Health Services (CCHS) will conduct a digital awareness initiative aimed at spreading accurate information on cancer awareness, prevention, and early detection among students and the campus community. As part of the campaign, one Instagram reel will be shared by the campus visiting doctor, providing medical insights into cancer awareness, common risk factors, and the importance of early screening and timely medical consultation. The reel will focus on preventive health practices and will address common misconceptions related to cancer. In addition, two informative Instagram posts will be designed and shared by the CCHS team, highlighting key aspects of cancer prevention, early warning signs, lifestyle-related risk factors, and the importance of regular health check-ups. The posts will present evidence-based information in a clear, student-friendly, and visually engaging format. Through this online initiative, CCHS aims to promote health literacy, encourage preventive healthcare behaviors, and foster a culture of awareness and responsibility toward physical and mental well-being. By utilizing digital platforms, the campaign is expected to ensure wider reach and engagement, reinforcing the message that awareness and early action play a crucial role in cancer prevention and care.
