The International Law, Human Rights and Gender Justice Committee, School of Law, is organising a training session on the Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH) for the housekeeping staff of the campus on 7th March 2026. The session will be conducted by Dr. Sanjay Bang, with the objective of creating awareness about safe and respectful workplace practices and the legal protections available against sexual harassment.
To ensure better accessibility and understanding, the session will be conducted in Marathi, enabling participants to comfortably engage with the discussion and clarify their doubts. The programme will introduce the basic concepts of sexual harassment, rights and responsibilities of employees, and the available complaint and support mechanisms within the institution. Emphasis will also be placed on maintaining dignity, mutual respect, and a supportive work environment.
Through this initiative, the committee aims to empower staff members with essential knowledge and contribute to building a safe, inclusive, and respectful campus environment for all members of the institution.
