The Department of English and Cultural Studies, in collaboration with the Centre for Competitive Exams, is organising a session titled “Preparing for UGC NET: Tips, Techniques and Insights” on 12th May 2026 for the first-year M.A. English with Digital Humanities students. The session aims to provide students with valuable guidance on preparing effectively for the UGC NET examination by introducing them to practical study strategies, exam techniques, and preparation resources. The resource person for the session is Ms. Pillai Krishna Jaykumar, a UGC NET Qualified candidate (2024), who will share her preparation journey, insights, and experiences with the participants. The session seeks to encourage students to begin planning for competitive examinations early in their academic journey and help them gain clarity about the structure and expectations of the UGC NET exam. Through this interactive session, students are expected to receive motivation and practical direction towards achieving their academic and professional goals.
