Objectives


  • To create awareness of the assessment process and practices of the University to the students and the faculty through orientation programmes.
  • To process and manage examinations as per the regulations of the University and the academic calendar in line with the statutory and regulatory bodies.
  • liaison with various Deaneries and implement department-specific assessments that guarantee security and confidentiality as per the university guidelines.
  • To ensure the process of awarding Degrees for various programmes adhering to agreed timelines and the University regulations.
  • To continually improve assessment practices through stakeholder engagement by innovative initiatives to enhance the quality of teaching and learning process  in the University.

Mission

To assess the learning levels of all the students as per the program learning outcomes and to recommend good assessment practices that ensure the graduate attributes specified by the University are ingrained in the students of CHRIST (Deemed to be University).

Exam Alerts

Dear Student 

The current  batch of final year students and the course completed students can apply for CIA repeat for the courses failed due to low marks in CIA .The CIA repeat will be held in offline mode with minimum of 30 hours tutorials under the supervision of a Tutor assigned by respective HoD’s. . It is mandatory to use the  library resources to complete the assignments. Assessments will be designed by the tutor concerned for maximum marks of 50 that includes CIA 1, CIA 2 and CIA 3 .Maximum duration  to complete the process is 30 days from the date of application.

Students who wish to register for the repeat course can apply in the prescribed application form (click here) and make the payment as per the CIA repeat payment guidelines of the university( approach IPM for the details of the amount to be paid) at the South Indian Bank using the Pink colored challan.You may collect the challan from the front desk at the office of examinations .Once the payment Is done, submit the application form  along with fee receipt to the Office of Examinations in the respective campuses.Office of Examinations will forward the application to the respective departments and the students can report to the HoD  for further procedures .
