He is the Registrar of CHRIST (Deemed to be University) and has a background in English, Translations Studies, and Cultural Studies. He also guides research in MPhil and PhD in English Studies and Media Studies. His areas of research interest are history of higher education in India, digital classroom, Konkani literature, university education in English and Media, self-translations. He has experimented with integrating digital technologies into higher education classrooms. He is also the coordinator of Centre for Publications, and Managing editor of University Journals.
He is the Vice Chancellor of CHRIST (Deemed to be University), with his educational foundation in History and Education. Fr Joseph C C is the Director of Student Affairs and is also Professor with the Department of International Studies and History. He has been a guiding force behind the educational innovations and practices that have been adopted by the University.
