The School of Humanities and Performing Arts and the School of Law organises the Guest Lecture on Fundamental Rights & Constitutional Obligation: Awareness for Responsible Citizenship on 10 February 2026 at 1:10 PM in the Auditorium, Central Block. The lecture aims to create awareness about the importance of Fundamental Rights and Constitutional Obligations as provided in the Indian Constitution. It will help students understand their rights as citizens as well as their duties towards society and the nation. The session will highlight how constitutional values guide responsible behaviour, democratic participation, and ethical decision-making in everyday life. The lecture is intended to encourage students to become informed, aware, and responsible citizens. The target audience for this programme includes First Year Law students and MA English with Digital Humanities students. Through this lecture, students will gain basic constitutional knowledge and a clearer understanding of their role in strengthening democratic values and social responsibility.
