The B.Sc. Clinical Psychology (Hons.) is a four-year, RCI-guided undergraduate programme designed to prepare students as frontline mental health professionals through rigorous academic learning, practical clinical exposure, and community-based training. The programme combines foundations of psychology with specialized clinical training, enabling students to understand human behaviour, mental health conditions, psychological assessment, rehabilitation, and early intervention approaches. Structured as a professional honours programme, the curriculum integrates theory, laboratory training, internships, clinical placements, research, and dissertation work to provide a holistic learning experience. Students are trained in mental health promotion, psychological first aid, behavioural assessment, psychoeducation, and community mental health practices under supervised clinical settings.
On successful completion of the programme, graduates become eligible for licensure under the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) as “Clinical Assistant (Clinical Psychology)” and can pursue higher studies and professional pathways in psychology and mental health.
