Ms. Monica Lawrence is an Assistant Professor in the School of Business and Management. She holds an M.Com. from Christ University and has qualified the UGC-NET in Commerce. With over 9 years of teaching experience, she specializes in Taxation, Finance, and FinTech, areas in which she has actively contributed through research, innovation, and academic engagement. She has presented at prestigious international conferences and published research papers in scopus indexed proceedings, including: "Corporation Tax Evasion ? A Curse to Economic Development of Malaysia", "Antecedents of Ethical Goods and Services Tax Culture Among Young Adults ? A Special Reference to Maharashtra and Karnataka", "Cardless Society: Assessing the Role of Cardless ATMs in Shaping the Future of Financial Transactions", and "Should Crypto Integrate Micro-Finance Options?". Her commitment to applied research is also evident in her patent titled: "Customer-Centric GST Verification Using Smart Financial Transaction Record System with PAN Card Integration" ? a novel approach aimed at enhancing transparency and compliance in GST transactions through integrated digital verification systems. Ms. Monica is also a certified Life Skills Trainer, accredited by the Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Youth Development. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. at CHRIST University, further deepening her expertise in taxation policy and its socio-economic implications.
