Dr. Richa Srishti holds a Ph.D. in Linguistics from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. Her research focuses on theoretical linguistics, NLP, ELT, gender and cinema, psychoanalysis, and Digital Humanities. Her doctoral thesis on Hindi Verb Classes has made a significant impact.
Dr. Srishti contributed extensively to NLP, especially PoS Tagging, during her time as Research Officer at the Central Institute of Languages. She has authored four books, several book chapters, and numerous research papers. Her work has been published in prestigious national and international journals.
Since 2022, Dr. Srishti has served as the Head of the Department of Languages at CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus. She played a key role in launching the MA English with Digital Humanities program.
Dr. Srishti is also a passionate writer, photographer, and music enthusiast. She finds inspiration in nature and enjoys expressing herself creatively through writing and music.
