In Their Words
Student-athletes on what representing CHRIST Pune Lavasa Campus has meant to them.

I feel extremely proud and grateful to have been a part of this family and institution for the past five years. During my journey, I had the opportunity to represent CHRIST University in several outstation tournaments, which greatly contributed to my growth as a sportsperson and as an individual. The University has always consistently encouraged and supported me in pursuing sports at higher levels. One of my most memorable moments was when I was selected to participate in the Inter-University South Zone Badminton Tournament to represent the team of CHRIST University — I was supported wholeheartedly. I sincerely thank our Sports Coordinator, Prakash P Sir, for his constant guidance, motivation, and encouragement. Without his dedication nothing would have been possible; huge credit goes to him in my journey of transformation and success. I am also deeply thankful to the University authorities and the Department of Physical Education & Sports for providing such a platform.

I am deeply grateful for joining the University basketball team. Initially, I felt lonely and shy due to the language barrier, but my seniors and Prakash Sir supported me immensely and never let me feel left out. They guided and corrected me like elder brothers, helping me improve both personally and in basketball. Participating in numerous tournaments significantly enhanced my skills. Over time, I formed strong friendships not only within the team but also with students from other sports — today, most of my friends are from the sports community. This university has provided me with incredible opportunities and constant encouragement. I have never regretted joining the team and am truly thankful for the trust placed in me through leadership roles. My journey at CHRIST has been truly enriching.
