The M.A. Clinical Psychology programme offered at CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Yeshwanthpur Campus is a Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) approved programme designed to train competent mental health professionals through rigorous academic, clinical, and research-oriented training. The curriculum integrates foundational and advanced knowledge in clinical psychology with supervised practicum, psychological assessment, psychotherapy training, and multidisciplinary mental health exposure. Candidates who successfully complete the two-year M.A. Clinical Psychology programme are eligible to register with the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) under the Central Rehabilitation Register (CRR) as “Clinical Psychologist” and practice independently as trained professionals in the field. Graduates may also pursue advanced professional training and higher education opportunities, including Psy.D. Clinical Psychology programmes, subject to eligibility criteria.
