Dr KAVITHA JAYAKUMAR

Dr. Kavitha Jayakumar, Associate Professor, holds a Master's in Commerce, M.Phil, and Ph.D. from Bharathidasan University, Trichy. Her areas of expertise include Finance and Accountancy. With over 20 years of teaching experience, she has guided 2 M.Phil. and 1 Ph.D. candidate. Dr. Kavitha serves as a book reviewer for Oxford University Press and has published 22 research papers. She is an IQAC member, Audit Coordinator, Consultancy Coordinator, and NAAC Lead for the School of Commerce, Finance, and Accountancy at CHRIST. Additionally, she serves as an external auditor for NMKRV College for Women and Lady Doak College, and as an internal auditor for CHRIST's Delhi NCR campus. Dr. Kavitha has published research in several prestigious journals. Some recent publications include studies on monetary policy, capital market volatility, and corporate governance. Her notable contributions include a working paper on Throughput Accounting and a major research project on Health Insurance. She also has a published patent titled "System & Methods of Effective Communication in Improving Employee Morale."
