Eligibility and Selection Process

 

 

 

ELIGIBILITY
Pass in class 12 (10+2) is the minimum eligibility for applying / admission.

  • Students pursuing International curriculum must note that eligibility is according to AIU stipulations
  • Applicants pursuing IB curriculum must have 3 HL and 3 SL with 24 credits.
  • Applicants pursuing GCE / Edexcel must have a minimum of 3 A levels grade not less than C.

SELECTION PROCESS

  1. Selection for the programme will be based on the performance in class XII.  After processing the Application forms of candidates whose supporting documents are submitted to the office within 3 days of the declaration of the class XII result (Maharashtra HSC/ISC/CBSE), the cut off percentage will be declared and displayed on the University notice board/University website. No postal/telephonic/e-mail communication will be given from the University. Other Boards whose results may be declared after the above mentioned Boards will be considered subject to availability of seats. The University does not authorize any individual or organization to operate on its behalf.
  2. Candidate will be intimated through appstat link: http://applavasa.christuniversity.in/ on the University website www.lavasa.christuniversity.in. No other communication will be made.
  3. Candidates failing to submit the application within the stipulated date and time will be considered as “Not Selected”.
  4. Candidates not submitting the category certificate from the concerned Maharashtra authorities will fall under general merit.
  5. Only Natives of Maharashtra, who can produce relevant documents from their Parish Priest/Pastor, will be considered under “CHRISTIANITY CATHOLIC” and “CHRISTIANITY NON-CATHOLIC” category.
  6. BCom Regular Programme classes are held from 9.00 AM to 4.00 PM. Students applying to BCom shall give an undertaking that, they do not intend to pursue CA programme (The new pattern of CA programme enables article ship immediately after the CPT and hence students cannot attend the regular BCom classes).

Basic eligibility for the programme is a pass at the +2 level (Maharashtra HSC / ISC / CBSE / NIOS / State Boards) in any stream (Humanities, Social Sciences, Commerce & Management, Sciences) from any recognised Board in India.

  • Candidates writing the +2 examinations in March-May 2020 may apply with their class X and XI marks.
  • Students pursuing International curriculum must note that eligibility is according to AIU stipulations:
  • Applicants pursuing IB curriculum must have 3 HL and 3 SL with 24 credits.
  • Applicants pursuing GCE / Edexcel must have a minimum of 3 A levels grade not less than C.

Basic eligibility for the programme is a pass at the +2 level (Maharashtra HSC / ISC / CBSE / NIOS / State Boards) in any stream with minimum score of 45% (Humanities, Social Sciences, Commerce & Management, Sciences) from any recognised Board in India.

  • Candidates writing the +2 examinations in March-May 2020 may apply with their class X and XI marks.
  • Students pursuing International curriculum must note that eligibility is according to AIU stipulations:
  • Applicants pursuing IB curriculum must have 3 HL and 3 SL with 24 credits.
  • Applicants pursuing GCE / Edexcel must have a minimum of 3 A levels grade not less than C.

*The candidates should also be below the age of 20 years as on July 01, 2020.

  • *The candidates should also be below the age of 20 years as on July 01, 2020.

Basic eligibility for the programme is a pass at the +2 level (Maharashtra HSC / ISC / CBSE / NIOS / State Boards) from any recognised Board in India.

 

Candidates writing the +2 examinations in March-May 2020 may apply with their class X and XI marks.

It is compulsory to have studied (Mathematics) at Class XII level.

 

Students pursuing International curriculum must note that eligibility is according to AIU stipulations:

 

Applicants pursuing IB curriculum must have 3 HL and 3 SL with 24 credits.

 

Applicants pursuing GCE / Edexcel must have a minimum of 3 A levels, grade not less than C.

Basic eligibility for the programme is a pass at the +2 level (Maharashtra HSC / ISC / CBSE / NIOS / State Boards) from any recognised Board in India.

 

Candidates writing the +2 examinations in March-May 2020 may apply with their class X and XI marks.

It is compulsory to have studied (Mathematics /Computer Science/Economics as subjectsat the Class XII level.

 

Students pursuing International curriculum must note that eligibility is according to AIU stipulations:

 

Applicants pursuing IB curriculum must have 3 HL and 3 SL with 24 credits.

 

Applicants pursuing GCE / Edexcel must have a minimum of 3 A levels, grade not less than C.

A composite score of 500 or above in the Management Aptitude Test (MAT) conducted by AIMA in either September - 2019 / December 2019 OR

  • A composite score of 450 or above in GMAT 2019 OR 2020 OR
  • A composite score or 300 or above in GRE 2019 OR 2020 OR
  • 50 percentile or above in the Common Management Admission Test (CMAT 2020) OR
  • 50 percentile or above in the Common Admission Test 2019 (CAT) conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) OR
  • 50 percentile or above in the XAT Test for Management Admissions (XAT) 2020
  • 50 percentile or above in the ATMA 2020.

And

50% or above marks in aggregate in the undergraduate examinations. (Applicants who are in the final year of their studies should have 50% or above aggregate in all the Semesters / years of undergraduate examinations conducted so far). Students writing their final degree examinations during March-May 2020 are also eligible to apply.

The minimum Score specified for MAT / CAT / CMAT / XAT / GMAT / GRE / ATMA is only an eligibility criterion and the actual score thereof shall have no bearing in the selection process.

Programme Eligibility


•    Candidates having 50% aggregate marks from any recognised University in India or abroad recognised by UGC / AIU in any of the following degree:

     A. Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA).

     B. Under Graduate in Science with any two of the following subjects as major or minor:

            1.    Computer Science
            2.    Mathematics
            3.    Statistics
•    Candidates writing their final year examinations in March-May are also eligible to apply.

A candidate who has passed any Undergraduate degree examination with 50 % aggregate marks from any recognised University in India or abroad recognised by UGC / AIU are eligible to apply.


Applicants who are in the final year of their studies should have secured 50% or above aggregate in all the Semesters / Years of Undergraduate Examinations conducted so far. Students appearing for their final degree examinations in March-May 2020 are also eligible to apply.
