The Centre for Academic and Professional Support (CAPS), CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus, is organizing a Trading Workshop - Understanding Stock Markets, Trading Strategies, and Financial Literacy on 19th November 2025 as part of Athenora 2025. The session will be conducted by Dr. Abhijeet Birari, Head of the Department – MBA, CHRIST University, Pune Lavasa Campus. The workshop aims to equip students with a comprehensive understanding of stock markets, trading strategies, and the fundamentals of financial literacy. Through interactive discussions and practical insights, participants will gain exposure to the dynamics of trading and investment decision-making.
The sessions will be held across various departments, including the School of Law, School of Science, B.Com, Department of English & Cultural Studies, and BBA, providing students from diverse disciplines the opportunity to develop essential financial skills and awareness of the global economic landscape.
This guest lecture aims to introduce students to the fundamentals of academic research, emphasizing the importance of systematic inquiry, research design, and scholarly writing. Dr. Gupta will guide students through the initial stages of developing a research idea, selecting methodologies, and understanding the ethics of scholarly work.
The sessions will be held for the School of Sciences, School of Law, BBA, and B.Com students, fostering research curiosity and academic rigor among emerging scholars.
