This guest lecture is designed specifically for MA in English with Digital Humanities students at Christ University, Pune Lavasa Campus, aiming to introduce them to the current academic and professional landscape of humanities research. With a focus on interdisciplinarity and digital fluency, the session will explore emerging areas of Humanities Studies. The lecture will guide students on identifying relevant academic journals, understanding evolving publication standards, and approaching research proposals with strategic clarity. It will also provide insights into applying for research assistantships, doctoral programmes, and funding opportunities, both nationally and internationally. Emphasizing the integration of technology and traditional humanistic inquiry, this session will equip students with practical tools and conceptual frameworks necessary for academic success in a digital-first environment.
