The Corporate & IPR Committee, CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus, in collaboration with Crawford Bayley & Co., is organising the 3rd National MOA and AOA Drafting Competition for law students across India. The competition aims to strengthen practical skills in corporate law drafting. The event will begin with a workshop led by Adv. Bhumika Batra, partner at Crawford Bayley & Co.,covering the essential legal and procedural aspects of drafting a Memorandum of Association and Articles of Association. The participants will receive a problem statement and will prepare their submissions based on it.
All entries will be evaluated by a panel of experts. The top three drafts, reflecting clarity, accuracy, and strong legal reasoning, will be awarded. This initiative provides a valuable platform for law students to apply classroom learning, engage with professionals, and gain meaningful exposure to corporate law practice.
