The Department of Statistics and Data Science and the Department of Computer Science at CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Lavasa, is organizing a guest lecture titled “Understanding Indian Knowledge Systems: An Introductory Session.” This initiative aims to introduce students to the rich intellectual traditions, scientific advancements, and philosophical foundations embedded in Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS). In alignment with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, the session is designed to provide students with a foundational understanding of India’s contributions across diverse fields such as mathematics, health, ecology, and sustainable living. The lecture seeks to highlight the interdisciplinary and holistic nature of traditional knowledge frameworks.
