The Department of Statistics and Data Science, CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus, is organising an Alumni Connect session on 13 July 2026 from 8:45 AM to 9:15 AM at Room 3401, Christ College Pune.
The session will feature two alumni, Naveen Krishna, Site Lead – Product Engineering at Genesis Technologies Pvt. Ltd., Pune, and Vaibhav Gouti, Analyst Intern at Bajaj Life, Pune. Through this interaction, students will get an opportunity to understand current industry expectations, emerging career pathways, internship opportunities, and the skills required to move confidently from academic life to professional roles.
The session aims to create a meaningful connection between current students and alumni by encouraging experience-sharing, career guidance, and practical insights from the workplace. It will also help students gain a clearer understanding of how academic learning in data science can be applied in real-world professional settings.
