The From Beginner to Creator: Workshop on Canva is being organized by the Centre for Digital Learning (CDL) in collaboration with the National Cadet Corps (NCC) and the Department of Physical Education & Sports, CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus. The online workshop is scheduled for 21 July 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, and is designed to equip students with practical skills in digital content creation and event media management.

The session will introduce participants to Canva, enabling them to create professional posters, presentations, and social media content using basic design principles. Students will also learn photography protocols for college events, including techniques for capturing quality images, understanding the difference between indoor and outdoor event coverage, and taking geo-tagged photographs. In addition, the workshop will cover best practices for organizing event photographs and documents using Google Drive, along with guidelines for selecting high-quality media for official reports, newsletters, and college publications. This initiative aims to strengthen students' creative, technical, and documentation skills to support departmental and institutional events effectively.
